Shown here is our mirror tiles formed into a hat.
This was made by laying some thin fabric, coated with liquid latex onto a plaster head. After it dried, it was trimmed around the edges, and covered in mirror tiles using more liquid latex as adhesive. The final piece is durable, slightly flexible and form fitting.
Because our mirror tiles come with a thin fabric adhered to the back-side, these glass tiles are securely set onto the hat.
Don’t have a plaster cast of your head? Get a styrofoAm head and coat it in plaster. It works excellent, and a convenient and cost effective solution to making latex hat forms.

What size mirror tiles were used? I ‘m having trouble trying to figure out exactly what size will work for my project. Thanks ^_^
this was a combination of 1″ and (mostly 1/2″) mirror tiles.
you can see that the 1″ tiles are going along the top and side, making cross pattern from ear to ear + forehead to neck.
the rest of the hat is 1/2″ tiles
